I’ll miss you, you nerd.

Dear Tagan,

I truly loved talking science with you, you big nerd. You were the person I was most likely to run into after 9 PM in lab in grad school, and without fail we'd have some fun conversation about a talk/paper/failed experiment/wild idea. The first time I met Bodhi, when he was only a few weeks old, you carried him like a football, swinging him from side to side while we talked about some new weird results, and it was such a beautiful intersection of joy in both life and work. I utterly failed to take a picture of that moment, so instead here are a couple from my going-away party from Philly (with apologies for the apparently mediocre camera and/or photographer). I'll miss you, friend.

Love,

Amy Gleichman
