Thinking on a different level
Tagan,
I will always remember that long red hair and goofy smile, the backyard BBQs, happy hours and quizzos. I remember after I started my postdoc I told you what I was researching and you immediately came up with an experiment that was so creative, innovative and ahead of it's time. At the time I don't think I fully understood what you were suggesting but since then I have often thought "man, if only I had done Tagan's experiment". But that was Tagan, just thinking on a different level than everyone else.
But most importantly you were genuinely kind, good hearted and loved your family to no end. I remember first meeting you with Bodhi and you just had a twinkle in your eye talking about fatherhood.
You are and will always be sorely missed. May your memory be a strength to your family and may your children bring to the world everything we lost when we lost you.
